Usani Odum
Usani is a Partner in the Corporate/Commercial and Disputes Resolution Practices of the Firm. He holds an LL.M in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He has a specialization in Transitional Justice, Dispute Resolution, Law in Post-War Societies, and general legal advisory.
Personal Experience
He has previously worked at the Human Rights and Transitional Justice Unit of the Department of Political Affairs, African Union Commission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and with Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors. He is currently on secondment as a Legal Officer at the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights in Tanzania.
He has consulted for several international organizations, including the Center for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
